To develop a prognostic test based on a single blood sample obtained at the time of uveal melanoma diagnosis. A prognostic test based on a single peripheral venous blood sample at the time of uveal melanoma diagnosis stratifies patients into low, intermediate, and high metastatic risk categories. Prospective validation will facilitate its clinical utility.
