Research using group interview samples of local authorities, residents, and tourism enterprises in the CBT destinations in Thanh Hoa province to deeply understand the fact and causes of conflicts. The collected data was coded and treated by using MaxQDA Pro 2020 software. The results show that the causes of conflicts in CBT destinations are disagreements about the vision and deference of perceived benefits and costs. Thus, it is necessary to promote propaganda activities to raise awareness of peoples long-term vision in tourism development, promote the local governments mediating role and build a co-benefit sharing model.
