Thương mại quốc tế là việc trao đổi hàng hóa và dịch vụ (hàng hóa hữu hình và hàng hóa vô hình) giữa các quốc gia, tuân theo nguyên tắc trao đổi ngang giá nhằm đưa lại lợi ích cho các bên. Đối với phần lớn các nước, nó tương đương với một tỷ lệ lớn trong GDP.
