Windows CE .NET is highly modular in its design so that footprint size can becustomized to meet the specific product requirements of a range of devices.Only those modules required by the nature of the device need be included in theoperating system image. An original equipment manufacturers (OEM) canfurther customize an operating system by selecting from a subset of availablecomponents for a particular module.
