Land has always played a crucial role in life of human community and is basics to human existence and also a limited resource. It plays an important role as a financial asset. Investment in infrastructure development such as airport, road, railways, hydropower, irrigation and town development for public purpose is very important for the development of any country and any infrastructure development needs a huge quantity of land. The first step towards the public infrastructure development is the acquisition of land. Land acquisition is a process of acquiring private/public land and providing for the public benefits.
