Objective : By the end of the lesson , students will be able tounderstand the dialogue between Hoa and her aunt , to practise foodvocabulary . Teaching aids : Textbooks , a computer PROCEDURE Steps / Activities Work Stage arrangement Kim’s game :I.Warmer - Show 9 pictures to students . Team work - Ask them to look at 9 pictures quickly in 30 seconds and try to remember the nouns in the pictures as many as possible . - Which team remembering more nouns is the winner . * Answers : a.fish f.bananas b.chicken g.apples c.beef h.carrots d.milk i.oranges e.peasII.Pre- T-whole : * Vocabularyreading class - spinach : (using picture ) -(a) cucumber : (using realia ) -(a) durian : (using picture ) -(a) papaya : (using realia ) - (to) hate = (to) dislike (synonym) - (to) smell ( mime) * Checking : Matching * Open –prediction : Brainstorming Whole class -Ask students to think of what food Hoa and her aunt bought .
