HOÀ CHÍ MINH ÑEÁN NAÊM 2010 CURRENT PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS TO DEVELOP INDUSTRY OF PIG FEEDING TO 2010 IN HO CHI MINH CITY Traàn Ñình Lyù Ñaïi hoïc Noâng Laâm Thaønh phoá Hoà Chí MinhSUMMARY Enterprises of pig feeding in Ho Chi Minh City have had efforts to apply new technology, toimprove product quality and to access to new markets of their output in recent years. However, theindustry of pig feeding in Ho Chi Minh City is now facing problems such as lack of cooperationamong enterprises and of appropriate management mechanism and decentralization. Studies arenecessary to solve those problems, particularly to set up the targets and long term developmentindexes of animal feeding industry and of pig feeding industry. The studies also help pig enterprisesto improve comparative advantages and to minimize disadvantages. This study attempts to analyze current problems of enterprises of pig feeding in Ho Chi Minh City,to analyze macro environment and micro environment and then set up strategies to development pigfeeding industry in Ho Chi Minh City. The results of this study indicate that there is an excessdemand for pork in Ho Chi Minh City even thought pork in Ho Chi Minh City is supplied by both HoChi Minh City and other provinces. The study also finds out five strengths, five weaknesses, fiveopportunities and five threats ( as shown in SWOT matrix) that the pig industry in Ho Chi Minh Citygets. Finally, the study propose several solutions to develop the pig industry such as supply pig babywith high yield and quality; restructure the pig enterprises, particularly the Saigon AgricultureIncorporation ( S.A.I) should be the state-owned enterprise with leading role; apply financial andcredit policy to encourage pig industry; supply inputs for this industry, animal feed in particular;improve domestic markets and access to international markets; improve the supervision ofslaughtering activities; and others concerning environmental protection.ÑAËT VAÁN ÑEÀ Hieän nay, maëc duø caùc doanh nghieäp chaên nuoâi heo TP.HCM ñaõ coù nhieàu coá gaéng ñoåi môùi khoahoïc coâng ngheä, naâng cao chaát löôïng saûn phaåm vaø ñaëc bieät laø söï ñaàu tö tìm kieám thò tröôøng môùi,nhöng neáu xeùt treân goùc ñoä toång theå cuûa ngaønh thì nhìn chung coøn nhieàu vaán ñeà baát caäp, thieáu söïphoái hôïp giöõa caùc doanh nghieäp vôùi nhau, cô cheá quaûn lyù vaø vieäc phaân caáp quaûn lyù coøn yeáu. Trongboái caûnh naøy, raát caàn thieát phaûi coù nhöõng nghieân cöùu ñeå giaûi quyeát caùc vaán ñeà nhö: xaây döïng caùcmuïc tieâu, chæ soá phaùt trieån daøi haïn cho ngaønh chaên nuoâi noùi chung vaø chaên nuoâi heo noùi rieâng, phuøhôïp vôùi söï phaùt trieån cuûa caùc doanh nghieäp, phaùt huy nhöõng lôïi theá, cô hoäi ñeå lieân keát quaù trình ñaàutö cuûa caùc doanh nghieäp, ñoàng thôøi hoã trôï caùc doanh nghieäp chaên nuoâi heo trong vieäc khai thaùc, taänduïng lôïi theá caïnh tranh cuûa mình. Ñeà taøi phaân tích thöïc traïng, thoâng qua nhöõng ñònh höôùng chieánlöôïc ñuùng ñaén ñeå ñeà ra nhöõng giaûi phaùp phuø hôïp, phaùt trieån moät caùch hôïp lyù nhaát ngaønh chaên nuoâiheo voán gaëp khaù nhieàu khoù khaên naøy.PHÖÔNG PHAÙP - Nghieân cöùu moâ taû. Ñaây laø phöông phaùp khaù thoâng duïng, thu thaäp caùc thoâng tin soá lieäu ñeåkieåm chöùng nhöõng giaû thieát hoaëc ñeå giaûi quyeát caùc vaán ñeà lieân quan ñeán tình traïng hieän taïi cuûa ñoáitöôïng nghieân cöùu. - Nghieân cöùu lòch söû (NCLS). NCLS laø thu thaäp coù heä thoáng vaø ñaùnh giaù khaùch quan caùc soá lieäucuûa nhöõng hieän töôïng xaûy ra tröôùc ñoù, nhaèm kieåm tra nhöõng giaû thieát lieân quan ñeán caùc nguyeânnhaân, coù aûnh höôûng hay taùc ñoäng ñeán xu höôùng phaùt trieån cuûa caùc söï vaät, hieän töôïng trong quaù khöù,laøm cô sôû vöõng chaéc cho vieäc döï baùo xu höôùng trong töông lai.Taïp chí KHKT Noâng Laâm nghieäp, soá 2/2003 Ñaïi hoïc Noâng Laâm TP.
